Testimonials

"When I began coaching with you, I was working full-time, traveling for my job, and raising three children aged nine, seven and three. I felt as though I should be able to do it all perfectly, but through coaching I discovered I was holding myself up to unrealistically high standards.  I engaged in constant negative “self-talk” because I wasn’t measuring up to those standards. After I began coaching with you, I finally recognized how damaging that negative self-talk was to me and the people around me, and I learned to relax. I let up on myself and stopped feeling as though I had to be “on” all the time. I honestly could never laugh at myself until I started coaching with you.

I stopped worrying about my own agenda and began to see things through my children’s eyes.  I realized that every moment in life is an opportunity to be with them. For example, instead of “hurry, hurry, we have to leave” in the mornings, I’m aware that that’s an hour I get to spend with my children, and I make certain I enjoy every moment.

I also got out of a job that did not fit with the lifestyle I wanted for myself and my family. You helped me see what I really needed in a job, which included more balance with my family, and now I can say I have my “dream job!”

I know you have many clients, but you’ve always made me feel as though I was your only client. You listen very intently to what I’m saying, and you’re always very concerned with how I’m doing.

I really feel that you know me and care about me and because of that, I have chosen to reach out to you for additional coaching at critical times in my life. Each time I have come away equipped with better "life tools" and very thankful for your help.

"I am a busy Mother of two girls ages 6 and 8, and also run my own business. I have had my fair share of challenges in life and marriage over the past five years, but I have always managed to keep myself together.

For six months out of this year, I struggled with the constant feeling of being overhwhelmed by the world and my day to day duties and frequent anxiety. I tried to get myself to feel better, but nothing was working.

I visited a therapist who told me I had classic symptoms of anxiety and depression, and I should strongly consider going on an anti depressant along with counseling. I did neither. I found Kellie through the internet and decided to give life coaching a try.

My experience for the past four months coaching with Kellie has been superb. She is professional, honest, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. Her strategies and tools have helped me to regain a sense of self, and enjoy my life again without the painful feelings I was struggling with.

I am amazed how her perspective and coaching can turn things around like magic!"

"Kellie was THE reason I was finally able to move on to a better life. She asked the penetrating questions that helped me sort the real barriers from the manufactured fears. She opened my mind to the art of the possible. Kellie helped me wade through confusion that for years had been preventing me from moving forward. All this and she is easy to talk to; every session was a positive, enjoyable experience. I never would have believed that one person could have done so much, so quickly. Kellie, thank you for making all the difference in my life!"

"When I began coaching with Kellie, my marriage was in significant trouble. I wanted help with the communication between myself and my husband. With her practical, common- sense approach and extensive knowledge, Kellie helped me learn communication skills I felt comfortable with. She provided excellent ideas, book recommendations and techniques. I loved how everything she said always made so much sense! She helped me see things from a different perspective, so I could approach my husband, voicing my feelings and thoughts in a way I had never been able to before.

Working with Kellie helped me realize how unhealthy it was to hold my feelings inside, and that I could express myself without having to “win.” Looking back, I can see how my thought process changed, and just looking at things differently has helped me to approach my marriage in a more positive and effective way long-term. Now I work much harder to always express my point of view, and I use my new skills to find solutions acceptable to myself and to my husband. Our marriage is doing much better, and we’re about to have our second child!

Another aspect of Kellie’s coaching I really liked was the weekly assignment. She never pushed and there was no stress involved, yet she helped me create an assignment for the week from each session. It really got me thinking about what we talked about each week and inspired me to put it into action!"

"I started coaching with Kellie because my life was completely overwhelming, no time to breathe, no time to really enjoy life, just busy, busy, go-go-go. I was working toward a Master's degree, teaching, and filling the role of wife and mother.

Now, after just one month, I feel like I'm flying free! It's as though weights have been lifted off my shoulders. I'm not as irritable, and I take the time to think about things instead of making snap decisions that I'll end up regretting later.

Through Kellie's coaching, I saw that I was more worried about other people's feelings and needs than my own. I finally realized that for everybody to be happy, including me, I had to stop pleasing everybody else at my own expense. And once I said "No" the first time, it got easier and easier each time!

Kellie was always very positive, and she created a very nurturing, comfortable environment. I never felt like I had to prove anything to her. She was like a person I could meet at a coffee shop and sit and chat with. She made me feel safe enough to take a look at myself and ask myself: why? She asked me questions that really made me think.

I wholeheartedly recommend everybody to her! If you're considering coaching, I think you owe it to yourself to read her website and at least talk to her once or twice before saying no, or giving up on what you want.

It's my experience that Kellie understands two very important things: what it's like to be a mom, and how to live your life according to what really matters . . . to you."

"Three months ago my life was overwhelming, frustrating, and I was on the verge of depression. Life was happening to me instead of me taking charge of my life. Everything was completely out of balance.

Coaching with Kellie has been like going from a floodlight down to a laser beam! I have a clarity of purpose and I've become super effective at managing my life. My house, which used to be a disaster, has become organized and a lot cleaner. My kids are much happier, enjoying the changes, which they've helped to create.  They've taken ownership and responsibility for helping with the house, the food preparation, and for doing more of their homeschooling work independently. I've learned truly effective time management, not just this pie in the sky, no one could really do it stuff that you read about sometimes. I'm a much better mom, more patient with my children.

I now have a much better understanding of why I did things, at a level I've never had before. It's as though before the coaching, I was snorkling, and then Kellie took me scuba diving . . . into the depths, where I could see what was really going on under the surface.

I learned how important it is to understand why you do something, to understand the voids you're trying to fill, in order to choose to do it differently. You really don't have to keep doing the same thing over and over again.

One thing that was HUGE for me was learning to recognize when I need to say NO. Before Kellie's coaching, no was not a word that appeared in my vocabulary. There was simply no no in the dictionary of Rhonda. Now I'm able to say no and not feel guilty about it! I actually feel a sense of calm when I say it.

A bonus is my children have benefited and learned from my example. They've seen how I've learned to set goals and establish boundaries in my life, and have begun to do the same. Maria in particular is beginning to stand up for herself with some of the kids that previously pushed her around.

Kellie has great energy! You can feel it even across the telephone lines. She helped keep me motivated.  I always felt as though I was her top priority, and she never judged anything I said. I felt safe and secure enough with her to be honest and open. She never tried to impose her opinions on me, she never made me feel guilty. I always looked forward to our weekly talks because I knew she would be my cheerleader, she'd be there to say "whoo-hoo!" and to affirm what a great job I had done.

And if things hadn't gone so well, I knew she'd be there to lift me up and help me see options when I didn't thing there were any. Through Kellie, I learned there are always options, you just have to be open to them."
